What this document covers
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Vibes to Bucks, a VS Code and Cursor extension for tracking AI usage costs and syncing billable time. By installing or using the extension, you agree to these Terms.
If you don’t agree, don’t install or use the extension.
The product
Vibes to Bucks is available in two tiers:
- Free โ Tracks your Cursor AI usage costs locally, provides a usage dashboard, project mappings, and cost multiplier settings.
- Pro โ Adds billing sync to Moneybird and Harvest, budgets and alerts, AI-generated time entry descriptions, dry-run previews, and backfill capabilities.
Feature availability may change over time. We’ll communicate significant changes through the extension changelog or our website.
License
When you purchase a Pro license (via Lemon Squeezy), you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Pro features.
- One license covers up to 3 devices simultaneously.
- You may deactivate a device and activate another at any time.
- Licenses are tied to you as an individual and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
The free tier requires no license and is available to everyone.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the extension or any part of it
- Circumvent or tamper with license validation
- Use the extension for any purpose that violates applicable law
Termination
- You may stop using the extension and cancel your subscription at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms (including the acceptable use rules above), provided we give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach where possible.
- Upon termination, your right to use Pro features ends. Local data on your machine remains yours.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
Third-party services
Vibes to Bucks connects to several third-party services depending on your configuration:
- Cursor โ To retrieve your AI usage data
- Lemon Squeezy โ To validate your Pro license
- Moneybird / Harvest โ To sync time entries (Pro, when you configure it)
- OpenAI / Anthropic โ To generate time entry descriptions (Pro, when you provide your own API key)
- Frankfurter โ To fetch USD/EUR exchange rates
These connections use your own accounts and credentials. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Payments and pricing
All payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, handles invoicing, and manages applicable sales tax/VAT.
- Prices are listed in EUR.
- Annual subscription: Renews automatically each year. You can cancel anytime โ cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Lifetime license: A one-time purchase granting indefinite access to Pro features.
- We may adjust pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes don’t affect existing subscriptions until renewal.
For details on refunds, see our Refund Policy. For how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The extension, its source code, branding, documentation, and all related materials are owned by Conversem. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the license granted above.
Your data โ usage statistics, configurations, time entries โ is and remains yours.

For lifetime license holders who object to material changes, we will offer a pro-rated refund at our discretion.
